Lucidome Bio faces the ‘Shark Tank’ at Animal AgTech Innovation Summit Europe

The reality is clear: livestock methane is a global challenge and New Zealand science is leading the charge toward a scalable, practical solution.

At the Animal AgTech Innovation Summit Europe held in Amsterdam, Lucidome Bio’s David Aitken took the stage as one of five startups in the event’s Innovation Showcase to pitch our methane reducing, productivity enhancing livestock vaccine to an audience of investors, innovators and animal health leaders.

The event was delivered in true ‘Shark Tank’ style with just three minutes to pitch and five minutes for questions. David’s energy and clarity drew strong engagement from the crowd, including thoughtful investor questions and plenty of post-session follow-up.

Our presence in Amsterdam for the summit was all about engagement and connection. Across the two days, we met with a wide range of potential investors, new agrifood partners, and animal health companies – from emerging innovators to established names like Arla Foods. It was clear that amidst supply-chain pressure and emissions targets, everyone is looking for action.

While the capital raising environment remains tough, it was encouraging to meet investors ready to test ideas and explore opportunities that have the potential to move the dial on agricultural emissions and productivity.

Having attended the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit recently in London, the animal agtech focus of this event offered valuable insights into livestock sector needs, regional priorities and local adoption pathways. We focused on getting under the hood of how innovation meets implementation in the region.

Lucidome Bio is proud to be part of both global and regional conversations that will help farmers, investors, and industries turn science into impact.
